It must seem ironic that we’d bring this topic up since we encourage you to visit our blog to see what’s new in our observations of the world and how to better navigate its complexities.  But the  Internet and social media, especially Facebook, have changed how we interact with our environment.
Consider that Facebook has over 1 billion users (the majority of Facebook enthusiasts are predominantly women 57% to 43% men), 2.7 billion “likes” per day and that users spend an average of 20 minutes per visit, it’s no wonder that many people do admit that they probably spend too much time online, which can affect their relationships with the real world.  That’s why this article by British psychologist Jeremy Dean, Can You Be Addicted to Facebook or is it Just a Bad Habit?, caught our eye.  We think this article is food for thought.  Enjoy!
