Greetings! My name is April Taylor. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and Master of Arts in Educational Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University. I have worked with individuals, groups, youth, and adults that struggle with depression, anxiety, inattention, hyperactivity, grief, adjusting and impulsivity.
Getting to know the whole person; their values, understanding their needs, and meeting each unique individual where they are is vital. It is important that individuals feel at ease and comfortable freely expressing themselves in a non-judgmental environment that is conducive to healing, growth, and empowerment.
My dedication to holistic health care focusing on the body and mind evolved through my passion for yoga realizing so much of the human experience is manifested in our physical bodies and integrating the mind-body can impact a profound change. After owning my yoga business for over 15 years, I recognize the importance of guiding with empathy and aiding individuals in the development of healthy mindsets. Identifying practical solutions, coping, healing; using an integrative and holistic approach to navigating collectively with each client through life’s journey.
