“The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.” ~Chauncey Depew

Hi, my name is Carl Del Bono and I am an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Professional Clinical Counseling from California Baptist University. I completed my internship at a non-profit in Palm Desert, CA where I was able to work with individuals and couples who struggled with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, anger management, alcohol and drug addiction, trauma, sex addiction, suicidality, LGBTQ+, and veterans. I am also a certified Domestic Violence Counselor.

I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for my clients to feel appreciated, safe, and heard. I will walk beside you through this journey, encourage you through the difficult times, and cheer with you during the triumphant times.

I understand that coming to therapy can be extremely difficult and is a huge first step, and I am so proud of you for making that decision! I am here to help you find out where you want to be and to be by your side as you take the necessary steps to get to there.

“The challenge that so many people have is not knowing how to take that first step of reaching out to another person for help.” ~Kate Middleton
