Hello, my name is Jaclyn Balingit and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University in 2019. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State San Bernardino. I have worked at the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center for the past two years and as a Behavioral Therapist with children for the past three years.
During my experience, I have worked with children, adolescence, adults, as well as couples and families in both individual and group settings. I developed a passion working in this field through my education which has only grown since I have begun my training.
I believe that one family experience and interactions effect an individual’s thoughts, feelings and actions. I enjoy exploring a family’s dynamic and working alongside my clients to develop healthy emotional interdependence. For this reason, I enjoy working under the Family Systems Theory, but I have also been trained in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
These skills help me work with my client to improve their personal relationships and emotional well-being.
